Congratulations to Falkor! – our Diamond in the Fluff, grand prize winner, in our Diamond in the Fluff “Before and After” Grooming Photo Contest.
Falkor was selected by our Celebrity Guest Judge, Jonathan David, as the finalist with the best transformation. David felt his grooming was the “best with a very even and balanced trim – a very cute and popular style among toy dogs”. We agree!

Badger was selected by our Celebrity Guest Judge, Jonathan David, as a finalist showing an amazing transformation. David felt that “Badger has such a great expression and his ears are just too cute!” David liked, “that the groomer chose an original style rather than the standard breed trim, it added an element of personality.” We agree!

Meet Our Celebrity Guest Judge
JONATHAN DAVID – CELEBRITY PET STYLIST
Jonathan David has had a very diverse career in the world of dogs. From a young age, he began in the show ring breeding and exhibiting multiple breeds. As a graduate of the Nash Academy, Jonathan had a very successful grooming competition career and has been the recipient of multiple scissoring awards, multiple Best All Around Groomer awards and Best In Show earning him a position on Groomteam USA in 2008 and 2009.
Jonathan has been nominated for many industry awards and earned the 2018 Barkleigh Honors Speaker Of The Year award as well as winning the 2019 award for Judge Of The Year and another nomination for the 2019 Speaker Of The Year award.
Jonathan was also a contestant on Animal Planet’s “Groomer Has It” Season 1 and has been featured as a grooming expert on multiple Animal Planet television shows as well as ABC’s “The View.”
Before moving to Florida he owned and operated a very successful mobile grooming business in NYC boasting a long list of celebrity clientele. Currently, Jonathan lives in south Florida where he divides his time between running his luxury pet spa, Lap Of Luxury Dog Spa, and traveling internationally educating pet stylists around the globe and he is an international speaker and judge.
